What name is given to the dancing seen in Michael Jacksons Thriller Video?

I’d like to join a dance class, where everyone performs together in a group, like what is seen in Michael Jacksons Thriller video, and also in other music videos. What kind of dance class would I need to join in order to perform dance choreographies such as these?
You should find a studio with a production class(lots of people doing one number) just be sure the style that is being instructed is somewhere on the lines of jazz, hip hop, or musical theatre… Good luck!
Its like street dancing. There are quite a few of these classes popping up around the country so i’m sure u’ll b able to find one near where u live x

Its not hiphop or street its actually a form of dancing that started in America and is one of the most new dances around its called body popping. Most average dance schools don’t teach it as a lesson but I know pineapple in london do. To be honest you could actually just teach yourself, watch videos on youtube and copy them. As long as you remember to pop and lock each move with practise you’ll be great in know time x
